A Thousand Words is a presentation of shared stories of an autoethnographic nature, written poetry, and visual aids in the form of portraiture. Awarded funds will go towards the cost of printing, zine-making, and installation materials.

“I’m very proud I was able to tell people’s stories in a way that sparked curiosity and empathy. I am proud that I was able to sell two sculptural pieces that were created for the show. I also got to collaborate with my friends on the book design for the risoprinted zine I made for the show.”
