I’ll produce an artist book in conversation with the work of Helen Adam (1909-1993), made while visiting her archives at the SUNY Buffalo Poetry and Rare Book Collection.
“The combination of funding and working with another artist's archive put pressure on me to make something extra special. There were many false starts as I searched for something worth doing and showing. Having time and support to do that (try and fail and try again)... is what artists need the most.”
